  • You will need to plant the trees yourself with help from friends, family and others as appropriate to the planting project. You can employ a local contractor to plant your trees if you wish.

  • You will need to protect your trees with fencing and or tree guards to prevent livestock and wild animals browsing or damaging trees. You will need to ensure your trees are well marked and protected from mowing / strimming / hedge cutting damage by contractors or grounds keeping teams.

  • Applicants must agree to follow our guidelines carefully when planting their trees. These guidelines are available to read on the next page.
