Trees for Farms & Smallholdings

We have some wonderful sponsors and donors this year helping to support tree planting projects on farms and smallholdings across the 32 counties.

• Native trees are available free of charge to farms and smallholdings of all kinds.

• This season we are running two schemes for farms and smallholdings:

• Small Tree Packs - Apply for up to 250 trees to plant on your land.
  Tree packs for planting small areas of woodland or coppice, for setting new lengths of hedgerow, for planting shelter belts, riparian and waterside areas, and for planting scattered individual trees and groups of trees as wood pasture or parkland.

• Larger Farm & Smallholding Projects - For more ambitious projects where tree numbers will exceed 250 trees.
  You will be able to plant up to 1,000 trees in the first season with options to continue planting in subsequent seasons as a multi-year project. We will work closely with you to plan, design and coordinate your tree planting, and to support you with management, maintenance and monitoring of the trees to ensure successful establishment. This scheme includes planting of woodland, coppice, new hedgerows, hedgerow restoration, shelter and soakage belts, riparian/waterside areas, wood pasture and parkland, agroforestry of all kinds, orchards, forest gardens and food forests, tree lines and avenues, rewilding projects, and restoration and underplanting of existing woodland.
